It has been a while, but One Holland Village mall has finally opened.

The hub is conveniently accessible, being close to Holland Village MRT Station and several bus services, and connected to major expressways.

Something interesting is that the mall seems ‘borderless’ with no real entrance, designed to integrate shops with open community spaces.

It is also a pet-friendly destination with features catering specifically to pet owners and their furry companions.

There are quite a number of open-air spaces with multiple courtyards, pet-friendly water coolers, pet lifts for easy accessibility, and leash hooks outside shops.

The mall also includes familiar restaurants like Ippudo, Sushi Tei and Surrey Hills Grocer, as well as new dining experiences at Fireplace by Bedrock and Ginkyō by Kinki.

You may not need to hurry down yet as some of the F&Bs will only be opened at 2024. But here’s what you can look forward to when the restaurants and cafes eventually open:

Caffeine Express #01-39
Caffeine Express (which used to be at Thambi Magazine Store) is primarily a take-and-go coffee place offering a range of coffee options like Espresso, Long Black, White, Mocha, and Caramel, along with non-coffee drinks like Matcha and Chocolate.

They use a medium roast espresso blend from Six Four Coffee with flavours of milk chocolate and hazelnut.

Additionally, they offer in-house baked cakes like Lemon Meringue Pie and Blueberry Cheesecake.

Crystal Jade Hong Kong Kitchen #02-28-30
Crystal Jade Hong Kong Kitchen in Singapore is renowned for its local cuisine, offering a blend of traditional Chinese and Nanyang-style dishes.

This popular restaurant chain is known for serving an array of Cantonese noodles, congee, roast meats, and dim sum.

Din Tai Fung #01-01/02
This renowned Taiwanese restaurant chain is famous for its Xiao Long Bao (soup dumplings) and a wide array of traditional Chinese dishes like Pork Chop Fried Rice.

Fong Sheng Hao #02-37
Fong Sheng Hao at One Holland Village is a Taiwanese-style café offering savoury toasts and street food such as Lu Rou Fan.

Their menu features items like the TW Special Pork Patty and Pork Egg & Cheese, alongside sweet options such as Chocolate & Peanut and Strawberry toasts.

Ippudo #02-27
The highlight of Ippudo’s menu is the rich tonkotsu soup broth, which undergoes an 18-hour double maturation process to bring out a deep flavour.

They also offer a variety of sides like the IPPUDO Pan Fried Gyoza, Pork Bun, Chicken Karaage, and Crispy Corn.

Lau Wang Claypot Legacy #02-31
The restaurant is known for its homely and unassuming claypot dishes, which include signatures like Claypot Sesame Chicken, Frog Leg Herbal Soup, Ginger and Spring Onion Pig Organs, Gong Bao Frog Legs, and Sliced Fish.

These dishes are not only affordable but also cooked in each small claypot, preserving their flavour and warmth throughout the meal.

LeNu #01-31/32/33/34
LeNu is known to serve up Lamian noodles in secret recipe broth that involves many hours of preparation, all at affordable pricing.

The Premium Braised Beef Noodles was a warm and hearty bowl, made with rich beef stock that took 18 hours of preparation, added with blend of Chinese spices and beef slices, shank and tendon that were meltingly-tender.

Paradise Classic #01-31/32/33/34
The menu at Paradise Classic features a diverse range of modern interpretations of local favourites, catering to a variety of tastes and preferences.

Some of the must-try dishes include the Crispy Sweet and Sour Pork, Braised Big Prawn Hor Fun with Prawn Broth, Steamed Minced Pork with Salted Egg Yolk, and Traditional Stir-Fried Mee Sua.

The Braised Big Prawn Hor Fun with Prawn Broth is recommended, thanks to its full-bodied broth, luscious prawns, smooth hor fun noodles, and wok hei.

Plain Meredith #02-23/34
A unique, pet-friendly café, Plain Meredith offers a diverse menu for both humans and pets.

It is known for its cosy ambiance, brunch items, and the concept of catering to pet owners.

Surrey Hills Grocer #03-29 to 33
This grocer and café combo is known for its fresh produce, artisanal products, and a menu of wholesome, farm-to-table dishes.

Tsujiri Premium #02-25
Specialising in Japanese green tea, Tsujiri Premium offers a range of matcha-based desserts and drinks.

Vietsmith #03-24/25/26
Offering Vietnamese cuisine with a modern twist, Vietsmith is known for its Pho, Banh Mi, and other street food.

Some of the notable dishes include the classic soup Pho with sliced beef, Fresh Spring Roll with shrimp, and Grilled Saigon Chicken.

For those looking for a treat, Vietsmith offers a premium beef series featuring Wagyu Beef and Honeycomb Beef Tripe.
