The scenic river views already make CQ @ Clarke Quay a sought-after spot for gatherings, and the new array of restaurants is the cherry on top.

If you are craving Thai, Nana Thai Royale is your go-to, serving authentic dishes 24/7.

Then there’s Grand Konak which fuses Turkish and Lebanese culinary artistry; The Singapura Club which adds a twist to local favourites; Sanchos with Mexican flair; and Seafood Paradise for seafood enthusiasts.

That’s not all. There are also Chapters by Drinks & Co., Lil Dublin, Simply Retro by Tin Box @ CQ and Tomo Tokyo which add to the international melange.

Check out the following 5 NEW restaurants at CQ @ Clarke Quay:

Seafood Paradise
Blk A 01-03
Opening Hours: 11:30am – 2:30pm, 5:30pm – 10:30pm (Sun – Thurs)
11:30am – 2:30pm, 5:30pm – 11:30pm (Fri – Sun, Eve of PH, PH)

Seafood Paradise, a household name for crustacean lovers, has anchored at CQ @ Clarke Quay with a new outlet.

Specialising in Singapore-style seafood dishes, it offers a dining experience that feels both spacious and intimate, suitable for families and corporate groups alike.

My favourite crab dish here is undoubtedly the Creamy Butter Crab topped with Coconut Crumbs ($10.80 per 100g) featuring succulent Sri Lankan mud crabs.

The specially-created buttery sauce is a masterstroke, a blend of curry leaves, white pepper, lemongrass, and chilli padi that seeps into every morsel of crab meat.

The kitchen also pays homage to a beloved classic with the popular Singapore Style Chilli Crab ($10.80 per 100g).

Here, the crabs are wok-fried in a tantalising sauce that straddles the lines of sweet, spicy, and tangy – best mopped up with fluffy mantou.

Also, look out for a special collaboration featuring Ms. Maria & Mr. Singh (Singapore) under the direction of renowned chef Gaggan Anand (running until 17 December 2023).

This culinary fusion is embodied in the Gaggan’s Crab Curry with Seafood Paradise Creamy Butter Mud Crab topped with Coconut Crumbs ($128.00) and more. The dish pairs the classic creamy butter sauce with a unique twist of Gaggan Anand’s famous Indian crab curry.

Nana Thai Royale
Blk A 01-06
Opening Hours: 24 Hours

Thai food enthusiasts can now head to new Nana Thai Royale, offering an authentic Thai culinary journey that never sleeps.

Open 24 hours, this restaurant welcomes the famished and the curious at any hour.

The menu is a homage to the vast array of flavours found across Thailand.

There are number of Thai Platters here, designed to offer a communal feast. I found items such as Jim Jum (North-Eastern style hotpot), Miang Pla Tu (Fried mackerel served with special seafood sauce), and Kao Pad Kai Kon Nana (Nana prawn & crab scrambled egg fried rice and more) on the menu – not quite the usual.

The “Tum Tard” Thai Salad Platter ($45) pairs savoury delights of grilled chicken and crispy pork belly with the tangy notes of pounded papaya salad.

Accompaniments like salted egg, boiled egg, Thai rice noodles, and an assortment of fresh raw vegetables encourage diners to mix and match or roll their own wraps for a personalised taste adventure.

Equally enthralling is the “Miang Pla Pao” Salted Grilled Fish Platter ($38.50).

This dish stars a salted grilled Tilapia, its skin crackling over the smoky perfume of lemongrass, ready to be ‘unveiled’.

Diners are invited to flake off the succulent meat, wrap it in crisp vegetable with other fixings, and take a mouthful. Aroy!

Sanchos
Blk D 01-07
Opening Hours: 12pm – 11pm Last order 10:15pm (Sun – Thurs), 12pm – 1am Last order 12:15am (Fri, Sat, Eve of PH)

Hola! Sanchos offers a slice of Mexico with its colourful dishes, paying homage to Mexican street food with imaginative flair.

At the heart of Sanchos lies the quintessential Nachos, transformed here into a tantalising social dish.

The Nachos (from $24) features crisp corn tortillas, heaped with a generous helping of toppings, cheese, and refried beans.

For toppings, you can opt for the hearty chili con carne, the lightly spiced grilled chicken, the vibrant sautéed vegetables, or the zesty tofu ranchero.

A crown of guacamole, crema, jalapeño, and pico de gallo, finished with a sprinkle of fresh coriander, turns this dish into a gustatory fiesta.

There is also the Barbacoa Tacos ($48), good for two to three diners to partake in its robust flavours.

A succulent duck confit, seasoned and slow-roasted to fall-off-the-bone tenderness, is presented with wraps of blue corn tortillas.

Served with a side of guacamole, pico de gallo, and crema, this generous platter is good to go with a refreshing Sangria or Margarita.

Grand Konak Turkish and Lebanese Cuisine
Blk D 01-05
Opening Hours: 11am – 11:59pm (Mon – Sun)

Grand Konak at CQ @ Clarke Quay brings the rich tapestry of Turkish and Lebanese cuisines.

Embark on a journey through the Middle East while sitting by the Singapore River.

If you come in a group, I would recommend having the Mixed Grill (from $85), available for 2, 3, 4, or 6 pax portions.

The platter offers a variety of charcoal grilled meats. Adana, a robust skewer of minced meat seasoned with Turkish spices, and Urfa, a slightly less spicy but equally flavourful kebab, are grilled till tender.

Accompanied by succulent Chicken Shish and rich Lamb Meat Shish, the platter is a carnivore’s dream. Served with nutty Bulgur Pilaf and a side of sweetly roasted peppers and tomatoes.

The Grilled Lamb Chop ($34.90) at Grand Konak deserves a special mention. Olive oil lends a glossy sheen to the slightly charred exterior, with the richness of the lamb complemented by the subtlety of herbs.

The Singapura Club
Blk C 01-01
Opening Hours: 4pm – 12am (Sun – Thurs), 4pm – 2am (Fri – Sat)

The Singapura Club invites diners into a world innovative casual dining fused with the lively energy of an Asian tapas bar and restaurant.

The menu is a parade of pan-Asian delicacies, starting with a spicy kick of Fried Mala Chicken Wings ($18), Oyster Omelette ($18) with crabmeat and sambal, Oishii Gyozas ($14) stuffed with truffle and mushrooms, to Tandoori Flatbreads (from $24) topped with various fillings.

Recommended is the Singapura Chilli Crab with Youtiao ($22), a creative take on the local classic.

This dish is served as a cold pate, a riot of sweet and spicy flavours paired with crunchy youtiao.

For those seeking a grilled delight, the Merdeka Satays do not disappoint, offering 10 skewers for $18 (chicken) or $20 (mutton/mixed). Perfect for nibbling on while enjoying a lively conversation.

The culinary experience is further enhanced by a selection of drinks, from the homegrown Singapura Lager to an assortment of craft beers, wines, and spirits.

And as the night unfolds, The Singapura Club becomes a stage for live bands, serenading with tunes ranging from jazz and pop to bossa nova and rock.

For those who enjoy a leisurely lunch by the quay, the options at CQ @ Clarke Quay are just as tempting.

Haidilao Hot Pot dishes out comforting set meals (Set Meals for 2 from $39.90), Hanjip Korean Grill House serves up satisfying lunch sets (Executive Lunch Set from $15), and Hooters offers a three-course set lunch (from $15) that’s hard to pass up.

Seafood Paradise joins the lunch crowd with executive sets (from $58 for 3-4 pax) that are ideal for sharing. Just to name a few.

CQ @ Clarke Quay is shaping up to be the destination for anyone looking to dive into a sea of gastronomic delights, whether it’s a casual meet-up for lunch or a year-end celebration.
