umi Huat Huat Yu Sheng ($128.88, Festive Pricing $138.88)
This Yu Sheng is a feast for the eyes, beautifully arranged to resemble a charming dragon face – a symbol of strength and good luck for CNY.

The meticulous craftsmanship is evident in the details, from the vibrant array of fresh vegetables to the colourful arrangement of traditional Yu Sheng condiments.

You get strips of radish, cucumber and carrots; accompanied with ruby melon strips, mixed melon strips, emerald melon strips, red ginger, white ginger, Mandarin orange peel, peanuts and more.

Taste-wise, the medley of fresh vegetables provides a refreshing crunch, which contrasts with the “pok chui” (crispy crackers) and succulent Norwegian salmon slices.

These generous portions of salmon were rich, velvety, and melt-in-the-mouth.

The entire ensemble is brought together by a signature zesty plum sauce, which strikes a balance between sweet and tangy.

A photogenic masterpiece, ideal for those seeking an ‘Insta-worthy’ addition to their festive celebrations.

umi Da Ji Yu Sheng ($108.88, Festive Pricing $118.88)
The umi Da Ji Yu Sheng is also a visually-striking dish, carefully shaped into the Chinese character 吉 – symbolising luck and good fortune.

The ingredients include freshly shredded vegetables, a variety of auspicious Yu Sheng condiments, and Norwegian salmon slices known for their rich flavour and tender texture.

All these elements are brought together with a traditional plum dressing, which imparts a sweet (but not too sweet) and tangy flavour.

This artistic 吉 representation not only makes for a great conversation starter but also adds a meaningful touch to the dining experience.

umi Prosperity Yu Sheng ($42.88 for regular, $55.88 for medium, $65.88 for large, Festive Pricing applies)
Moving on to the umi Prosperity Yu Sheng, this dish stands out for its flexibility in serving sizes, making it a practical choice for gatherings of different scales.

The regular size, exclusive to umisushi retail outlets, is ideal for smaller groups of 4 to 6 pax.

The medium is good for 6 to 8 pax; while the large size caters to larger gatherings from 8 to 12 pax.

The composition of fresh vegetables, vibrant Yu Sheng condiments, Norwegian salmon slices, and the traditional plum dressing make this an enjoyable ‘lo-hei’ to share with friends and family.

Norwegian Salmon Slices ($32.88, Festive Pricing $38.88 add-on special for 18 pieces)
If you wish for more ‘Nian Nian You Yu’, indulge in a top-up of 18 pieces of Norwegian Salmon Slices – with rich, buttery flavours and tender texture.

Special price valid with purchase of all Yu Sheng except regular-sized umi Prosperity Yu Sheng.

Hana Fortune Sushi Platter ($68.88, Festive Pricing $78.88)
A generous assembly of 53 pieces, encompassing a wide range of sushi favourites and CNY specials.

New to this year’s platter is the Pink Maki Sushi taking centre-stage; while another festive special is the Chicken Floss Maki.

The chicken floss offers a savoury, slightly sweet taste with a fluffy texture, while the maki provides a contrasting soft, vinegared rice wrapped in seaweed.

The assortment also includes Norwegian Salmon Temari Sushi, Ebikko Mayo Mini California Roll, Futomaki, California Uramaki, Unagi Sushi and more – all crafted to order.

Fortune Treasures Platter ($39.88, Festive Pricing $49.88)
Each of the five signature items on the Fortune Treasures Platter – a cold appetiser plate, is thoughtfully chosen to symbolise different aspects of good fortune.

The Edamame, fresh and lightly salted, represents “Luck”; while the Chuka Kurage (seasoned jellyfish) and Chuka Idako (seasoned octopus) symbolise “Prosperity” and “Longevity” respectively.

The Lobster Salad symbolising “Happiness” is creamy and rich – a luxurious addition to the platter.

Lastly, the Chuka Hotate (seasoned scallop skirts) for “Wealth” are tender and flavourful.

For those looking to simplify their CNY feasting with a mix of tradition and convenience, umisushi offers two enticing umi Abundance Bundles.

The “Auspicious Prosperity” ($148.88, Festive Pricing $178.88) features the Hana Fortune Sushi Platter, an impressive collection of 53 pieces that includes a range of popular sushi types.

To top it off, the bundle includes 18 slices of Norwegian Salmon adding a luxurious touch to the meal.

The “Abundance Prosperity” ($228.88, Festive Pricing $248.88) includes the highlight of dragon-designed umi Huat Huat Yu Sheng.
