Love Korean-style pizzas?

Eat Pizza which hails from South Korea has finally made its debut in Singapore, settling in at Level 1 of PLQ Mall at Paya Lebar.

You would have come across them in Korea, known locally as 피자먹다 (Pizza Meokda), which means “to eat a pizza”.

This renowned chain, celebrated as South Korea’s largest with over 100 outlets, brings a fresh approach to pizza-making – made-from-scratch pizzas, ready in a mere 5 minutes.

Yes, 5 minutes.

The pizzas are created to be grab-and-go in a long rectangular shape of a fulfilling 25cm – fast, convenient and tasty.

This unique design not only speeds up baking, but also makes the pizzas easy to enjoy on the go or shared among friends.

Central to Eat Pizza’s concept is the efficient baking process.

The doughs are crafted in-store with high-protein dough and extra-virgin oil, then stretched into distinctive rectangular trays.

This process results in a moist and soft texture, elevating the quality of each bite.

Over in Singapore, the menu boasts over 10 tempting variations, with prices starting affordably at $5.90 per pizza – which is really inexpensive.

Choices you can find include the house-signature Hot Spicy Chicken Pizza, 100% Real Cheese Pizza, Hawaiian Pizza, Crispy Potato Bacon Pizza, and Sweet Potato Pizza.

For those seeking something different, options like Shrimp Pizza, Sirloin Steak Pizza, and Fried Shrimp Pizza are available at $8.90 each.

There is even a PLQ Flagship-exclusive rendition for its Singapore opening: the Kimchi Bulgogi – a nod to its Korean roots.

Hungry? Check out the following offerings from Eat Pizza Singapore:

Hot & Spicy Chicken Pizza ($7.90)
One of my favourites as it had a more robust taste. Turning up the heat, the Hot & Spicy Chicken Pizza was laden with chicken chunks and drizzled with a hot sauce that packed a punch.

The heat gave a kick but was not overpowering, allowing the flavours of the chicken, cheese and the pizza base to remain front and centre.

Kimchi Bulgogi Pizza ($9.90)
The Kimchi Bulgogi Pizza is a Singapore-exclusive, kicking things off with a fusion of distinctive Korean flavours.

You get to savour a mix of the bulgogi’s sweet, soy-infused tenderness; along with the kimchi’s tangy and mildly-spiciness. 맛있어요.

Pepperoni Pizza ($6.50)
Interesting to know that the pepperoni is made with beef rather than pork. This delivers a satisfying balance of spicy pepperoni slices and gooey cheese.

The tomato sauce was rich and herby, forming a solid foundation for the toppings.

A safe, enjoyable pick for those who prefer sticking to the classics.

Aloha Pizza ($6.90)
Get transported to a tropical paradise. Like a Hawaiian Pizza, this mouthwatering creation features turkey bacon that adds savoury element, balanced by the sweetness of juicy pineapple chunks.

This is brought together by a creamy white sauce, resulting in a pizza that is blend of sweet, salty, and creamy goodness.

Sweet Potato Pizza ($6.50)
There is something about Koreans who love savoury-sweet food.

You can expect the cheese and sweet potato melding together in a symphony of smooth and sweet, making each bite indulgent yet not too heavy.

A simple combination, this pizza is a safe bet for those who prefer milder and slightly sweet flavours.

There is also array of sides to complement their pizzas, catering to a variety of tastes.

Among their convenient take-and-go options are the Corn Cheese (from $5.90) available in original, bacon, or sweet potato variations, promising a blend of creamy and savoury flavors.

The Mac & Cheese ($6.90) comes in both original and gochujang options, offering comfort taste.

For those craving a spicy kick, the Tteokbokki ($4.90) is available in hot & spicy or jjajang (black bean sauce) versions, for adding some heat to your meal.

Additionally, their Spicy Drumlette, Popcorn Chicken, and Chicken Tenders ($4.90 each), provide choices for those looking for a satisfying and crispy snack to complement their pizza feast.

Korean Yuzu Honey Citron Slushie ($3.90)
To wash down the richness of the pizzas, go for a cup of Korean Yuzu Honey Citron Slushie.

The honey added a gentle sweetness that rounded out the sharpness of the yuzu, creating a refreshing soothing drink.

Eat Pizza Singapore has introduced two special sets: the Hana Set and the Bestie Set.

The Hana Set (from $10.20) includes your choice of one pizza, accompanied by a side of traditional Korean banchan — you can choose from kimchi, pickled radish, or spicy cucumber.

To complete the meal, the set also includes a Korean canned drink, with options like grape or pear juice.

For those visiting with a friend or family member, the Bestie Set (from $20) doubles the delight with a choice of 2 pizzas, 2 servings of banchan, and 2 Korean canned drinks.
