Baker’s Brew Chocolate Cake series can be a heaven for chocolate lovers out there.

The three signature cakes – Chocolate Rhapsody Cake, Flourless Chocolate Cake, and Chocolate Symphony Cake – stand out the most.

Each cake is a delightful treat that should satisfy your chocolate cravings.

For those intending to get a Chocolate Cake for the next special occasion like a birthday, look out for the exclusive Guinness® Chocolate Mousse Cake and Mao Shan Wang Chocolate Cake available for a limited period.

Here’s more on the Baker’s Brew Chocolate Cake specials:

Chocolate Rhapsody ($68)
The Chocolate Rhapsody is a delight for those who adore rich and intense chocolate flavour.

With layers of chocolate ganache, chocolate mousse, and chocolate sponge, all made with Valrhona Ariaga 66% chocolate, this cake is velvety and satisfying at the same time.

Interesting to know that there is addition of popping candy, which adds a fun crunch to each bite.

Despite its decadent ingredients, I thought that this cake was surprisingly fluffy, making it a good treat for any occasion.

Would say that if you are unsure on what type of Chocolate Cake to get, the Chocolate Rhapsody with deep cocoa aroma is a safe choice that would please most cake lovers.

Flourless Chocolate ($58)
The Flourless Chocolate is for chocolate lovers who want to indulge without the guilt of a traditional cake.

You get layers of flourless dark chocolate sponge, dark couverture chocolate mousse, and almond florentine coated with a shiny chocolate glaze.

The mousse-y texture of the cake is a welcome change from the usual sponge cakes.

I did think that the almond florentine, although a nice addition, didn’t add too much of a noticeable texture to the cake.

With the intense richness, do get people to share this with you. Or there is always a smaller version available at the Baker’s Brew outlets.

Overall, the Flourless Chocolate is a delicious option for those looking for a gluten-free dessert or a chocolate fix without the usual sponge cake texture.

Chocolate Symphony ($68)
The Chocolate Symphony is a modern twist on the classic Chocolate Cake.

With layers of dark chocolate ganache, moist chocolate cake, velvety chocolate cheesecake, and an Oreo biscuit base, this offers a symphony of different chocolate tastes and textures.

As this cake is on the denser side, this would be suitable for those who prefer a richer dessert.

At least there is an addition of the cheesecake layer gives this cake a tangy and creamy flavour that balances out the richness of the chocolate.

The Mao Shan Wang Chocolate Cake and Guinness® Chocolate Mousse Cake are two new exclusive additions to their collection that are sure to impress.

Mao Shan Wang Chocolate Cake ($68.80 Father’s Day Exclusive)
Originally introduced for Father’s Day last year, it has made a comeback by popular demand with improved recipe and look.

With layers of fluffy chocolate mousse, chocolate sponge, and creamy durian paste, it is beautifully presented with an intricate origami exterior speckled in gold.

With June being the durian season, the timing is great to savour this cake. Worry not, as it does not have an overpowering smell.

The intense chocolate flavour is balanced by the creamy and sweet Mao Shan Wang puree, creating a taste sensation with a possible flavour-explosion in your mouth.

With a dense chocolate sponge that is coated in silky chocolate fudge, this is a golden indulgence to impress dad.

Guinness® Chocolate Mousse Cake ($68.80 for 7”, also available in 3.5” in retail stores)
Baker’s Brew × Guinness® presents this Father’s Day Exclusive, which will be available in limited quantities online or at Baker’s Brew retail outlets.

Infused with Guinness® alcohol, this cake packs a punch and the ideal choice for dads who love both chocolate and beer.

Combining the rich and maltiness of Guinness® with the sweet and creamy Irish cream mousse, the alcoholic flavours can be quite strong for this.

As for the texture of the mousse, it is just right – not too dense, not too soft, which complements the denser and moist chocolate sponge.

There is also crunchy almond croustillant incorporated which provides a textural contrast that adds an extra dimension to the cake.
