I know I use ‘hidden’ a little far too often to describe these finds, but this coffee place is indeed quite obscure.

A Slow Cup cafe is tucked away on the Level 2 of Robertson Walk, which offers a contrast from the bustling bars and izakaya downstairs.

This hidden cafe gem shares its space with the Painted Nail Bar, providing an opportunity to enjoy your favorite thirst-quenchers – whether it’s coffee, tea or lemongrass – while indulging in some nail-care.

The cafe’s interior exudes a chic terra-colored ambiance, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere.

In a world that seems perpetually in a hurry, A Slow Cup Cafe stands to celebrate the beauty of slowing down.

To savour moments of stillness, and relish the simple joy that comes from a well-crafted cup of coffee.

For coffee aficionados, A Slow Cup Cafe offers a variety of coffee options, including espresso ($4), piccolo ($4.50), black ($4), white ($5), and mocha ($5.50).

You can also opt to enhance your coffee experience by adding oat milk for a dollar extra.

They use a signature blend known as “Mellow Magic”.

The smooth blend with a medium roast profile, features beans from Brazil and Colombia.

This coffee boasts notes of stone fruits, Demerara brown sugar, caramel, and milk chocolate, making it a choice for those seeking a rich cup. I liked it.

Non-coffee drinkers aren’t left out either, as the cafe serves a comforting hot chocolate and a babycino for the little ones.

When it comes to accompanying treats, A Slow Cup Cafe offers a selection of bakes – though not aplenty.

The Marble Carob Loaf Cake ($7) slightly on the pricey side, had marbled appearance, and offered sweetness paired with the earthy richness of carob.

There are also Sourdough Walnut Banana Loaf Cake ($6) and Double Chocolate Chip Cookie ($5) with its indulgent double dose of chocolate.

A Slow Cup Cafe is a serene escape from the hectic pace of life.

Its chic interior, commitment to slow living, and carefully crafted coffee blends make it a spot for those seeking a moment of respite at Robertson Walk.
