The famed Mister Donut has opened another outlet in Singapore at Velocity @ Novena Square.

Warning: the place definitely attracts a super long queue; and some may not help but wonder what all the fuss was about. Isn’t it just donuts?

This particular Mister Donut is more than just a doughnut kiosk.

They have a small 20-seater café area where you can enjoy your doughnuts alongside freshly brewed coffee and tea – that’s if you can get a seat.

But it is a nicer touch with a dedicated seating area for customers.

Now, let’s talk about the doughnuts themselves.

Mister Donut is known for its signature “Pon De Ring” glazed mochi doughnuts. These doughnuts are soft and chewy, and they come in a variety of flavours like strawberry, chocolate, and the original Pon De Plain.

All the doughnuts are priced between $2.30 and $2.50 each.

They do offer bundle purchases of half a dozen for $14 or 10 for $23, but there’s a maximum purchase limit of 10 pieces per transaction per customer (Pon De Ring capped at 4 pieces).

Apart from the Pon De Ring, Mister Donut also offers other varieties of doughnuts. The airy French Cruller doughnuts caught my eye, with flavours like Angel French and Custard Strawberry French.

The Old Fashion doughnuts, which have a more cake-like bite, were also available in variations of strawberry or chocolate – decent, but nothing extraordinary.

If you are a chocolate lover, they have Chocolate Rings that are dressed up with strawberry, golden crunch, or coconut sprinkles.

I appreciate that Mister Donut has introduced Singapore-exclusive flavors like Pon De Ring Chocolate and Strawberry Chocolate to celebrate its arrival here.

Perhaps wait for the queue to subside before rushing to visit.
