[Bangkok] Butch’s Coffee วิภาวดี-จตุจักร is the cosy haven found close to Chatuchak for coffee enthusiasts to discover.

The cafe resides in the Wang-Dek 3 building at the intersection of Soi Vibhavadi Rangsit 5 Intersection 1, Chomphon Subdistrict, Chatuchak District.

It is an easy walk from Mo Chit BTS station (exit 2) or Chatuchak Park MRT station (exit 4).

Its brick facade stands out, while the clear glass walls promise a sneak peek into the minimalist and light-filled haven within.

The cafe’s ambiance, painted in clean white tones and accented with wooden touches, effortlessly puts you at ease.

It is as if you have entered a close friend’s living room, and not a commercial establishment.

Once inside, a welcoming counter bar becomes a favorite spot for casual chats with friendly staff while sipping your drink.

The extensive menu boasts a variety of coffee and non-coffee options, accompanied by freshly baked treats.

Some of the recommended include Iced Latte (THB 75), Latte (THB 75), Flat White (THB 75), Cappuccino (THB 75) and Magic (THB 75).

Their unique touch? They roast their own coffee beans.

Among the choices, the “Butch’s” blend – a mix of Brazilian and Thai beans – is a standout, offering a delightful mix of nutty, chocolatey notes with a hint of orange peel.

For a gentler sip, “Betty’s” blend with Burmese and Ethiopian beans delivers a sweet, berry-infused finish.

And for those craving a bold, intense coffee, the “Ex-Wife” blend is a strong contender. Health-conscious?

They have got you covered with alternative milk choices that are both beneficial and flavorful.

The Iced Chocolate (THB 90) stood out for its ideal blend of sweetness and bitterness. It was a drink that commanded attention with every sip.

The Iced White with Ex-Wife blend (THB 75), meanwhile, was a smooth, aromatic coffee with nutty, chocolate, brown sugar notes.

It struck the balance for a palate seeking intensity without bitterness.

For dessert, the Chocolate Macadamia Cake (THB 100) was a soft, mildly sweet delight. Served with a side of caramel and macadamia sauce, its rich flavors danced on my tongue.

Not to be outdone, the Banana Bread (THB 80) was soft, warm, and paired exquisitely with crunchy almonds, creating a medley of textures in each bite.

For other pastries, you may find the Lemon Poppy Seed Cake (THB 80) and Croffle (THB 80).

Whether you’re catching up with friends or seeking solitude with a cup of coffee, Butch’s Coffee in Bangkok promises to be the companion.
