Baked de Arles
Indulge in Hokkaido’s Sweetness with Berry Cheese Cake

Bake de Arles introduces a fusion of Western confectionery ideals with Hokkaido’s pristine ingredients such as flour, milk, fresh cream and butter.

Do get their Berries Cheese Cake ($23.80) which includes five different types of berries. Each bite is a testament to the region’s natural sweetness, paired impeccably with the creamy lusciousness of Hokkaido Soft Cream.

Experience that taste journey that starts with the tartness of the berries and ends with the silken smoothness of the cream.

There are many other sweets you can find here too, from Hokkaido Soft Cream ($7.80 each), Cookie Cream Puffs with Hokkaido Milk ($5), Hokkaido Rich Eggs Pudding ($7) to Hokkaido Rich Milk Pudding ($7) with that soft, milky finish.

J. Sweets
A Symphony of Traditional Japanese Confections and Haskapp Delicacies

J. Sweets features assortment of Japanese confections, merging tradition with a touch of modern sophistication.

Their exclusive Morimoto “Haskapp Jewelry” ($26) is a must-have, allowing the tartness of the Haskapp berries (also known as the honeyberry or honeysuckle) to shine with thin-baked cookie, special buttercream and chocolate couverture.

Meanwhile, the Rokkatei Marusei Butter Sand ($17 for 5 pcs) is a comforting embrace of rich buttercream and raisins sandwiched between biscuits.

What you get are treats deeply rooted in the Japanese confectionery tradition yet feels like a novel delight.

Tasting Bay by Enoteca
Hokkaido’s Finest Wines with Enoteca’s Curated Wines

An opportunity for wine aficionados to explore the vinous offerings of Hokkaido.

Their selection, meticulously transported and stored, ensures each glass poured is a true reflection of the wine’s intended profile.

Enjoy wines by the glass, beginning at $10, at the tasting bar.

A recommended choice is the Tsurunuma Harvest Special Cuvée Pinot Blanc 2019 ($16 per glass). It is an encounter with Hokkaido’s lush vineyards and the passionate vintners who craft these bottles of joy.

Uni-Murakami (First time in Singapore)
Experience the Pure, Unadulterated Taste of Fresh Hokkaido Sea Urchin

Uni-Murakami stands out with its pioneering presence, offering sea urchin at its freshest.

The brand, renowned for its commitment to quality, presents its Hokkaido Uni ($100 per box) without any preservatives, allowing the natural, briny sweetness of the sea urchin to shine.

It is frozen to capture its peak flavour, ensuring that each spoonful is as fresh as it can be without stepping foot in Hokkaido itself.

Kura (First time in Singapore)
Feast Your Eyes and Appetite on Kura’s Deluxe Seafood Bentos

Kura captivates Japanese seafood lovers with its Deluxe Seafood Bento ($40).

This bento is a treasure chest, revealing the ocean’s bounty with salmon cuts, uni, ikura and more that are as visually appealing as they are on the palate.

There are also the Deluxe Snow Crab Bento ($39), King Crab & Snow Crab Bento ($3) and King Crab Bento ($42) with salmon roe and sea urchin.

The presentation is meticulous as well, reflecting the Japanese art of serving food that pleases the eyes as much as the taste buds.

Ota Kamaboko (First time in Singapore)
Savour Hokkaido’s Traditional Fish Cakes

Ota Kamaboko brings traditional Japanese culinary craft to the forefront with its Hokkaido Fish Cake (from $7 per piece)

This humble product is the result of a process that highlights the premium quality of Hokkaido ingredients.

One of my favourite street food stall here, the fish cake may look simple yet very flavourful, with a texture that is soft and enjoyable.

From Edamame Fish Cake ($5), Squid Fish Cake ($6.50), Scallop Fish Cake ($6.50), to Snow Crab Fish Minced ($5), my go-to was the Octopus Fish Cake ($6.50).

Isshin Foods
Dive into the Richness of Hokkaido’s Dry Scallops

Isshin Foods stands proud as a beacon for seafood enthusiasts. They are also known for their natural and farmed fresh fish, fresh fruits and vegetables, frozen and chilled seafood products

They bring the ocean’s gifts to your plate with their Dry Scallops ($80 per 100g).

These scallops, known for their succulence and depth of flavour, are a testament to Isshin’s commitment to quality.

Tonbe (First time in Singapore)
Ultimate Hokkaido Buta-don Experience

Tonbe collaborates with Ginza Asai – a famous restaurant in Ginza, introducing the exclusive Hokkaido Buta-don ($22).

There are various choices such as Pork Ribs & Shoulder Loin Butadon ($25), Pork Ribs Butadon ($22), and Shoulder Loin Butadon ($22).

Freshly grilled at the stall, succulent pork slices were indeed melt-in-your-mouth, accompanied by a symphony of specially-made sauces.

The meat’s tenderness paired with the rice bowl’s simplicity, creating a bowl that was both comforting and satisfying.

inEZO (First time in Singapore)
Award-Winning Sapporo Ramen in Singapore

inEZO adds a punch to the fair with its award-winning Sapporo Miso Ramen ($18.50), Sapporo Miso Tsukemen ($19.50) and more.

The popular ramen restaurant won the overall grand prize at an “All Japan Ramen Contest 2018 in New York”, and the two grand prizes at Ramen Expo 2022.

The robust soup harmonises with the thick, chewy noodles, and the dried fish essence adds a depth of flavour that is bold and impactful.

Their oil soba, complemented by a side of rice, ensures that every last drop of soup is savoured.

Rakkyo (First time in Singapore)
Heartwarming Hokkaido Chicken Soup Curry in a Bowl

Talk about one of Hokkaido’s signature foods, and it has to be Soup Curry. Now you can have it without traveling to Japan.

A popular type of curry originally from Sapporo, this dish is characterised by its thin and tasty soupy base.

Rakkyo introduces a warm embrace with its Hokkaido Chicken Soup Curry ($18). It is prepared without additives, using only the finest Hokkaido produce.

Something I enjoyed too. The curry was rich-tasting, not too spicy at all, (and very different from what you usually try) and chicken was so tender.
