[BANGKOK] With 4 outlets in Bangkok, Thailand, CPS Coffee has rapidly gained a foothold in the coffee scene in the recent years.

Founded in 2019 by CPS CHAPS, a fashion brand in Thailand, the brand aims to be a coffee lifestyle bar focusing on “Coffee, Passion and Specialty”, with unique interior and decorations for cafe hoppers.

With 3 other outlets at Terminal 21, Central Eastville and ICONSIAM, their latest flagship store has opened in Thong Lor in June 2022.

I was wow-ed by the external facade, a standalone white building in a weirdly odd but satisfying stairs-like structure, and a single circular tunnel.

Stepping inside, the area is divided into 3 different spaces with a warm and cosy indoors area on the first floor decked in black and wooden furnitures, where diners can see all the actions behind the coffee bar counter.

Check out the clean, minimalist pets-friendly outdoors area, surrounded by lush greeneries, industrial table tops, white pebbled floor, a single white spiral staircase for the IG-worthy shot and ample of natural sunlight.

The 2nd floor has an Apple store vibe with a clean and minimalist touch, emphasising on natural materials such as wood and trees.

Their menu features a selection of “Dirty” drinks topped with a single espresso shot of C.P.S. Coffee Blend Medium: 16-1448.

Priced at THB 120 (SGD 4.80) a cup, there are different flavours such as Hazelnut, Toffee Nut, Caramel, Chai, Bon Bon, Strawberry, Mocha and Matcha.

I had the Matcha Espresso Dirty (THB 120, SGD 4.80) with espresso shot poured on top of matcha latte that is below 2 degree Celsius.

The coffee aroma and taste is distinctive and nutty, very well balanced by the smooth, icy cold matcha latte beneath that is perfect for Bangkok’s hot and humid weather.

2 House blends are available for their espresso-based drinks: Amber Ale has a lighter roast with sweet and fruity touch for white, whereas Copper Stout has a darker roast.

The prices are reasonable and starts from THB 90 (SGD 3.60) for a cup of Espresso.

Apart from their specialty coffee, CPS Coffee also offers hot food in their menu such as Red Wine Beef/ Chicken Truffle Pie (THB 180, SGD 7.20), Margherita/ 4 Cheese Pizza (THB 150, SGD 6), Beef/ Pork Burger (THB 180, SGD 7.20) and Egg/ Tuna Croissant Sandwich (THB 150, SGD 6).

A good selection of pastries and bakes are displayed on the shelves, front their signature Cronut – Chocolate Raspberry, Pistachio, Dirty Dark Chocolate (THB 180, SGD 7.20), to Cookies (THB 90, SGD 3.60), Croissant (THB 90, SGD 3.60) and Cakes (THB 120, SGD 4.80).

CPS Coffee

I enjoyed the Orange Mousse Cake (THB 120, SGD 4.80), very soft and fluffy layer of sponge with jelly-like mousse that is light and refreshing.

CPS Coffee is not just about aesthetics but also focuses on their coffee and food, and with such a nice conducive space for cafehoppers, this will be a perfect spot to check out during your stay in Bangkok.
