Burgs, a renowned burger chain in Singapore, has always been celebrated for its gourmet burgers that offer exceptional quality at affordable prices.

Their latest innovation, the Supreme Croissant Burgers, takes their offerings to a whole new level of satisfaction.

Inspired by the viral Lafayette croissants from New York City, Burgs introduces a twist by replacing their signature soft brioche buns with light, crispy, and flaky croissants to hold their patties and toppings together.

The fast-casual Halal-certified burger concept can be found at at 313@somerset (Level 5), VivoCity, Causeway Point (Level 4 Food Republic), and Lot One Shopper’s Mall (Level 4 Food Junction).

Opened by founders Indra and Ridzuan who used to work in Michelin-star restaurants, they found an opportunity to start a business offering local-style gourmet burgers at affordable pricing.

These round croissant ‘buns’ are freshly baked using an original recipe, adding a unique and indulgent touch.

Also, what truly distinguishes Burgs’ burgers from others is their house-made signature sauces. The chefs at Burgs take pride in whipping up their own sauces, adding a distinctive flavour profile.

With 4 fresh flavours, let’s dive into the details of each Supreme Croissant Burger, all crafted in-house:

Classic Supreme ($8.80)
The Classic Supreme features a succulent beef patty, topped with delectable cheese, crispy lettuce, juicy tomatoes, and their flavourful house-made sauce.

All of these enticing ingredients are sandwiched between the light and flaky croissant buns.

What I liked was the signature smashed patty style creates a juicier, and more flavourful experience with each bite.

The croissant’s buttery richness complements the savoury flavours of the patty, while its delicate texture adds a pleasant crunch.

Bacon Beef Supreme ($9.80)
For those seeking a bolder flavour profile, the Bacon Beef Supreme is another choice.

Building upon the cheeseburger foundation, this burger incorporates flavour-packed bacon beef and house-made BBQ sauce.

The smoky notes from the bacon beautifully enhance the overall taste, resulting in a mouth-watering experience and more indulgence for bacon lovers.

Hot Chick Supreme ($8.80)
If you prefer poultry over beef, the Hot Chick Supreme features golden deep-fried chicken, fresh lettuce, creamy cheese, and juicy tomatoes.

Complete with mayonnaise and signature house-made hot sauce for added kick.

The crispy croissant buns provide a delightful contrast to the tender and succulent chicken, while the combination of the cheese, lettuce, and sauce adds a creamy and tangy element.

BEC Supreme ($7.80)
For a breakfast-inspired treat, the BEC Supreme is a standout choice and my personal favourite.

This special creation brings together a trio of irresistible ingredients: crispy bacon, a sunny-side egg, and creamy cheese, all nestled between the croissant buns.

Loved the runny yolk, especially when it seeps into the croissant – can be enjoyed when you are in a savoury brunch mood.

To complement their mouth-watering burgers, Burgs offers a range of delectable sides.

The Burgs Chicken Nuggets ($5.80 for 6pcs, $6.80 for 9pcs) feature house-made chicken nuggets with considerably-succulent meat, and are twist on a classic favourite.

Fries go best with burgers. The Burgs Cheese Fries ($5.50) take their original fries to the next level with a generous topping of gooey, melted cheese.

For those seeking a slightly spicy kick, the Burgs Chilli Cheese Fries ($6.50) are a tantalising option that adds a fiery punch to your meal.

To quench your thirst and beat the heat, Burgs offers the Signature Black Lemonade ($4.50) and an ever-changing Seasonal Slushie ($4.90).

Whether you prefer a fruity blend or a zesty flavour, the Seasonal Slushie is designed to complement the bold flavours of the burgers, promises to be the refreshing accompaniment to your favourite Burgs burger.

Also look out for the improved Burgs Classic Cheese Burger which puts a local spin on the cheeseburger with pickled green chilli and crispy fried shallots accompanying a handcrafted beef patty, American cheese, lettuce and tomato.

If you prefer something with a kick, go for the Hot & Spicy Chicken Burger comprising a deep-fried chicken fillet glazed in Sriracha sauce for a fiery kick and layered with mayonnaise and lettuce.
