Fatburger & Buffalo’s, along with the Buttrmilk fried chicken and waffles outlets, have recently concluded their operations in Singapore.

This decision aligns with their operating franchise management company, Deelish Brands, which is in the process of shutting down.

Deelish Brands previously managed more than 10 outlets in Singapore, including other popular brands such as the wood-fired pizza joint 800 Degrees, Buttrmilk, and the submarine sandwich chain, Blimpie.

There were previously three Fatburger branches located across the island: KINEX, Orchard Cineleisure, and The Star Vista.

In line with the closures, their respective websites and social media sites have now been deactivated.

Originating from Los Angeles, Fatburger built its reputation on a foundation encapsulated by its name – FAT, signifying ‘fresh’, ‘authentic’, and ‘tasty’.

Each burger, cooked to order, boasted of lettuce, tomato, onion, mayo, mustard, pickles, and relish.

Fatburger allowed customisation with options ranging from bacon and eggs to chili and cheese. Patrons could select from the Single Original to Double, and even challenge their appetites with a Quad.

For those with a penchant for wings, there was The Buffalo’s which served both bone-in and boneless chicken, complemented by a spread of hearty sandwiches and salads.

There was a choice of 8 signature sauces ranging from the classics like Hot and BBQ to unique flavours like Thai Sweet Chilli and the daringly spicy Death Valley.

As Singapore bids adieu to this iconic brand, its legacy of delivering ‘fresh’, ‘authentic’, and ‘tasty’ experiences will undoubtedly be missed by many.
