Signs A Taste Of Vietnam Pho which was previously located at Midpoint Orchard, has moved over due to the bigger space, and the interior is decorated in typical colourful decor.
Other than the affordable Pho, Banh Mi and Spring Rolls, something to note is that the eatery is opened by a deaf couple Anthony and Angela.
Thus, the interesting shop name of “Signs A Taste Of Vietnam Pho”.

Anthony would typically be in shades to welcome customers, and pass them the menu and chit-sheet for ordering.
For people who have not seen him before, his non-verbal may be described as “enthusiastic”.
(I was searching for differences between “deaf”, “hearing impaired”, and it seems the better way to describe for the community is either “deaf” or “hard of hearing” rather than “hearing impaired”. “Hearing loss” may not be considered politically correct especially if no loss had occurred. )
Would recommend customers to be more patient, especially during peak hours. (Have come across a negative reviews stating, ”do not communicate with customer… question or query will be refused.”)
Despite the challenges, the risks of opening an F&B in the heart of town, the couple decided to go ahead to follow their passion – which is to cook for people.
Angela had been cooking for family and friends, especially in her home town Hanoi, and was encouraged to set up a F&B business.
They decided to try if such a business could make it back then, gained good support, and therefore have been doing so for more than 3 years.
Prices of the Vietnamese noodle bowls are considered inexpensive for a town area, mostly at $10 or below with no GST or service charge. Extra $0.50 for takeaways.
Items offered include Sliced Beef Ribeye ($8), Sliced Beef Shin ($8), Beef Balls ($8), Best Feast Combo ($10), Chicken Pho ($7), Chicken Balls ($7), Sliced Pork ($7), and a Vegetarian Pho option ($7).
Sides dishes include Prawn with Pork Fresh Spring Rolls ($6), Chicken Wings ($5), Honey Chicken Wings (5), and Banh Mi ($6 – $7).
Prices for the food items are inexpensive, withvarietiess of Sliced Beef Ribeye Pho ($6.00), Hanoi Chicken Pho ($5.00), and Fresh Rolls with Prawns, Pork and Egg Fresh Rolls ($5.00) and Beef Noodle Salad ($6.00).
The Beef Ribeye and Balls combination ($8) was comforting with light soup without any added MSG. I did find the soup this time a tad to the salty side, and would personally prefer something with a cleaner taste.
The soft and bouncy beef balls were also a highlight.
Do lend them some support if you are in the vicinity, and I really don’t think you would mind their tasty bowl of Pho, full of heart.
