ICEX’s Restaurants From Spain Certification
The restaurants are selected based on the criteria that they have at least one person who can speak to clients in Spanish and who can explain the concept behind the restaurant.

Its menu has to offer a 60% predominance of Spanish dishes and recipes while carrying PDO / PGI foods from Spain and are helmed by a chef who is qualified to prepare Spanish dishes and recipes.

Finally, they need to own communication media platforms that show the Spanish identity of the restaurant.

Singapore is the first in Asia where Spain launched the certification program in 2021. This year marks the second year running of the practise.
